Founder and CEO

Michael Gold is the Founder and CEO of Zlago, a leading provider of outsourced IT for small to medium-sized businesses. Previously, he was a Senior VP at Parallels, a leader in virtualization and automation software for consumers, hosting and software-as-a-service. Mr. Gold joined Parallels through the acquisition of Sphera, where he was the CEO and led the company’s success in SaaS and application enablement software for service providers including AT&T, Telecom Italia, IBM and Japan Telecom. Earlier, he was the Senior VP of Internet Products at Qwest. Mr. Gold has also served as CEO of Vicorp (a subsidiary of Qwest), VP of Corporate and Business Development at Icon CMT (acquired by Qwest) and in various sales and business development positions at AT&T and Bell Labs. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana and M.B.A. from Stanford.
